Information
and Referral Services:
Intake workers answer phone calls and meet
with the general public to provide
information regarding any and /or all services
available to address identified needs. Referrals
may be made to outside agencies, if appropriate.
Individuals with questions about community
resources or needing agency services may
contact an intake worker by telephone or
in person.
The
intake social worker will provide information
regarding any/all services available to
address identified needs. Referrals may
be made to outside agencies, if appropriate.
Individuals needing agency services will
meet with our intake social worker to complete
an application for services. All Child Protection
reports are received by the intake social
worker. Our agency also serves as the Common
Entry Point for vulnerable adult reports.
The
social worker is also available to explain
the reporting statutes, answer any questions
regarding agency practices and services,
and discuss other resources and strategies
for a family to utilize.
