The
University of Minnesota Extension
in Otter Tail County is the educational
outreach arm of the University of Minnesota.
Our mission is "to involve people in
improving the quality of life and enhancing
the economy and the environment through
education, applied research, and the resources
of the University of Minnesota."
Campus-based
extension specialists work with county-based
extension educators to deliver educational
programs through meetings, demonstrations,
workshops, publications, and electronic
delivery methods such as interactive TV,
satellite teleconferences, and computer
networks. Our program areas include: 4-H
Youth Development, Environment and Natural
Resources, Foods and Nutrition, Agriculture
and Horticulture, Community Vitality and
Family Development.
